COVID-19: PROTOCOLS FOR OUR CLIENTS

To ensure the safety of our staff, please adhere to the following procedures for using our services:

Booking Services

  1. At this time, ALL SERVICES are by APPOINTMENT-ONLY.

  2. Walk-Ins will not be allowed (that includes nail trims).

  3. Clients will be screened at the time of booking and again on the day of appointment.


Drop-Off

  1. Please remain in your vehicle.

  2. Call/text to inform us of your arrival and your instructions.

  3. We will come out and make our way to your vehicle, with our slip lead in hand to safely exchange your dog. To minimize contact with surfaces, we will ask that you distantly open the door. We will place our lead on your dog, then we will ask that you remove your dog’s collar, leash, harness etc. The slip lead used will be dedicated to your dog for his/her visit, then will be sanitized upon pick-up.

  4. We will then take your dog into our facility.


Pick-Up

  1. We will call/text you when your dog’s appointment is nearly complete (about 30 minutes). Please pick-up within 30-60 minutes of us alerting you, unless other arrangement has been discussed/agreed to with our staff.

  2. Upon arrival, please remain in your vehicle and inform us via call/text.

  3. Using his/her designated lead, we will come out with your dog and make our way to your vehicle. Remain in your vehicle, distantly open the door, and put on your dog’s collar, leash, harness etc. We will then remove our slip lead from your dog. This lead will be sanitized before next use.

  4. We will have our wireless payment device in hand. Preferred payment is by e-transfer, credit card, or debit. If paying by cash, please provide exact amount in a sealed envelope/baggie.


Shuttle Service

If you have no time to drop-off/pick-up your dog at our facility or make alternative transport arrangement, we do offer a dog shuttle service (additional cost will apply). Please adhere to the following procedures when booking/using our dog shuttle service:

  1. Please book your dog’s shuttle service no later than 48 hours of the appointment. Provide necessary instructions/details (e.g. crate, leash, entrance to be used).

  2. We will call/text you to inform you when we arrive and are out front.

    • If your dog will be in a crate during transport:  Place your crated dog outside the front entrance. Then please wipe down the crate (especially the handles) with a disinfectant.

    • If your dog will be using a collar/leash for transport:  We will place our lead/collar/leash on your dog. Then we will ask you to remove your dog’s collar, leash, harness etc. The lead we use will be dedicated to your dog for his/her visit, then will be sanitized upon drop-off.

  3. Leave 2 meters of space for us to come and pick your pet up and safely return to our vehicle.
